She was born Oct. 18, 1912, in Schuyler County, a daughter of David and Rhoda Mae Trone Abbott. She married J. Robert Lashbrook on June 16, 1937, in Bloomington. He died Jan. 9, 1991.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Orson and Oliver Wendell Abbott.
Surviving are two sons, Larry Robert (and Nancy) and Keith Elwyn (and Barb), both of Rushville; two brothers, Dale (and Esther) Abbott and Carson (and Vera) Abbott, both of Rushville; one sister, Rosalee (and Franklin) Kotter of Rushville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was an operator with Schuyler Telephone in Rushville and a distributor of the Peoria Journal Star for many years.
She was a member of Houston United Methodist Church and delivered mobile meals.
Services were held Friday at Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Dixie Croxton officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
