Edmund Lau, 70, died Sunday in the Peoria State Hospital, where he had been a patient for about a month.
Mr. Lau was born Oct. 16, 1876 in Woodland township, a son of Emanuel and Caroline (Gipe) Lau. He was married Feb. 17, 1901 to Ollie Parr, who died July 15, 1916.
Surviving are two children, Mrs. Caroline Belville and Melvin Lau, of near Astoria, and two brothers, Michael Lau, Astoria, and Frank Lau of Frederick.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon in the Horton residence by the Rev. Fred Thompson. Burial was in the Summum cemetery.
