John H. Kinkead, 45, of Rushville, formerly of Astoria, died at 8:40 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 1995, at his home.
He was born Nov. 23, 1949, in Beardstown, the son of Harold and Mary Louise Irwin Kinkead. He married Kathy Hopping.
Surviving are his mother and father of Rushville; one son, Scott of Pontiac; two daughters, Michelle of Macomb and Stephanie Haney of Vermont; one sister, Sally Ellis of Rushville; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson.
He was owner and operator of Kinkead Precision Radiator Shop. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and an honorary member of the American Legion, both in Rushville.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Ipava Cemetery with Rev. Collis Trone officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at Shawgo Memorial Home, Astoria.
