Wilma E. Jones, 82, of Canton, died at 7:15 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, 1995, at Graham Hospital.
She was born Jan. 23, 1913, in Warren County, a daughter of Frank and Alys Lannery Hughes. She married Edward J. “Barney” Jones on May 7, 1954, in Canton. He survives.
Also surviving are one brother, Franklin Hughes of Farmington; and six sisters, Ruth Stremmel of Astoria, Wynette Johnson and Lois Edwards, both of Canton, Geraldine France of Industry, and Betty Clagett and Norma Powell, both of Aurora, Mo.
Funeral services were held Monday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home with Rev. Delmar Smith officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
