She was born Dec. 17, 1922, in Astoria, a daughter of Frank and Alys Lannery Hughes. She married William Clagett. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by two sons, Gary and Dennis Livengood; one brother, Franklyn Hughes; and five sisters, Ruth Stremmel, Wilma Jones, Lois Edwards, Geraldine France and Norma Powell.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas (and Ronna) Beemer of Rowlett, Texas, and Ron (and Valerie) Beemer of Mesa, Ariz.; two daughters, Cheryl (and Warren) Bagley of Montague, Calif., and Barbara (and Steven) Pauley of Sachse, Texas; one sister, Wynette Johnson of Canton; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was a Certified Nurse Assistant.
She was a lifetime member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, where she was a former board member; and United Methodist Church of Garland.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Reverend Robert Greene officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Wednesday. Burial will be in Astoria Cemetery.
