She was born Sept. 25, 1921, in Ipava, a daughter of Carl V. and Helena G. Lohr Leonard. She married Robert H. Immel on Sept. 25, 1939, in Burlington, Iowa. He died May 3, 2000.
She also was preceded in death by one granddaughter, two sisters and four brothers.
Surviving are three daughters, Toby Curley and Shirley (and Robert) Nelson, both of Table Grove, and Kathleen (and Leonard) Wass of Oswego; nine grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 12 stepgreat-grandchildren; one brother, Clive Leonard of Vermont; and three sisters, Marilyn Chenoweth of Table Grove, Shirley Montgomery of Detroit, Mich., and May Kinzer of Sacramento, Calif.
She was a member of Oswego Presbyterian Church in Oswego.
Services were held Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Rev. Damien Spikereit officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Table Grove Fire and Rescue Squad.
