Former Astoria Resident Dies In Rushville

Earl Grove, 66, of Rushville, died in the Culbertson hospital in that city Friday after an illness of about a year. The body was brought to the Horton Funeral home, where funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon by Rev. Fred Thompson. Burial in South Fulton cemetery.

Mr. Grove was born Jan. 28, 1889, to Ahas and Emma Danner Grove. He married Maude Schaffer, Nov. 9, 1913, who survives.

He is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Anna Bahman, E. Moline, and two brothers, Diamond Grove, Terrogarda, and Orla Grove, Vermont; three sisters, Mrs. Dolly Mitchell, of Browning; Mrs. Della Schisler, Ipava and Miss Pearl Grove, Astoria.
