He was born Sept. 14, 1959, in Canton, the son of Delbert and Mary Coita Groff Fairburn.
Surviving are one son, Calob Fairburn of Boise, Idaho; four sisters, Deborah (and John) Lopes of Mount Pleasant, Mich., Rebecca (and Marvin) Westlake of Mount Carmel, Diane (and Gary) Westlake of Bader and Julie (and Bill) Troutman of Rushville; one honorary brother, Ron (and Melinda) Parsano of Vermont; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one nephew, Blake Westlake; and one honorary sister, Janet Kirby.
He worked at Hitchcock Scrap Yard in Canton and L and N Industries in Rushville.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
