She was born Jan. 10, 1951, in Norton, Va., the daughter of Hardin “Footsie” and Edna Pantier Ray.
She married William Kirby II on Sept. 17, 1983, in DeSoto. He preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 1987.
She also was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are three daughters, Karen (and Steven) Davis and Megan (and Chris Hamm) Kirby, both of Astoria, and Dianna Davidson of Rushville; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was a CNA at Snyders Vaughn-Haven in Rushville and Astoria Gardens. She also did housekeeping for the Briney and Ratcliff families, Better Banks and Dairy Dipper in Astoria.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Gary Sheets officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
