He was born Aug. 9, 1972, in Rushville, a son of Marvin and Rebecca Fairburn Westlake. He married Stephanie Miller on Feb. 19, 2016, in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents of Mount Carmel; five children, Curtis, Zebulun, Shaylee, Evan and Aaron; one brother, Clete (and Heather) Westlake of Mount Carmel; his grandfather, Delbert Fairburn of Astoria; and four nieces, Kylee, Emma, Abbey and Tiffany.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Genevie and Glenn Westlake and Coita Fairburn.
He was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for Beaird Transport in Astoria.
He was a member of Bader Christian Church.
He was a 1991 graduate of Mount Carmel High School. He was a graduate of Wabash Valley Community College.
Services were held Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Jeremy Westlake officiating. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery in Astoria.
