Mildred FoutchMildred L. Foutch, 87, of Marion, formerly of Astoria, died at 2:17 a.m. Dec. 19, 2013, at Marion Rehab and Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 10, 1926, in Woodland Township, Fulton County, a daughter of Cyrus G. and Mabel Bell Miller Bucher. She married James E. Foutch on Feb. 10, 1948, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 1992.

She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Merland, Lester and Sherman Bucher; and two sisters, Eunice Keim and Merle Bucher.

Surviving are one son, Randy (and Valerie) Foutch of Marion; and three grandchildren.

She worked at Farmers State Bank in Astoria for 30 years until James became ill. After this, she took care of her husband.

She was a member of Astoria Church of the Brethren.

She moved from Astoria to Marion to live with Randy and Valerie. Due to her failing health, she went to River to River Assisted Living.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23. Graveside services will be held at Woodland Cemetery in Astoria with Pastor Gary Sheets officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria.

Memorials may be made to Astoria Rescue Squad.
