Florence Audrey Elliott, 82, of Vermont, died at 2:12 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Aug. 13, 1916, in Montclair, N.J., the daughter of John J. and Elizabeth Graham Harris. She married Sidney W. Elliott on March 25, 1939, in Chicago. He died Jan. 20, 1995. One son, Kenneth, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, Dennis of Carpentersville, Daniel of Collinsville and John of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Kent (Nancy) Thomas and Sharon Dodd, both of Vermont; three brothers, Donald of Bollingbrook, James of Tempe, Ariz., and Michael of Georgia; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She retired from Ken-Ray Foundry. She was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Macomb.
Services were held Saturday at Kost Memorial Home witih Rev. Richard Pricco officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
