Jessie F. Easley, 85, of rural Vermont died at 11:50 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 1998, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Oct. 9, 1912, in Vermont, a daughter of William C. and Clara Jeanette Brockley. She married Keith Easley on Dec. 24, 1929, in Vermont. He died Feb. 14, 1993. Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Jeanette Porter; one son, William Easley; and one sister.
Surviving are two daughters, Melba Louise Davison of Quincy, Fla. and Martha Chenoweth of Morton; one son, Kermit Easley of Canton; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Brockley of Astoria and Leonard Brockley of Vermont; and one sister, Frances Neice of Macomb.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Vermont Christian Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at her church with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7:30 p.m. at her church. Burial will be in Vermont Cemetery.
