Glen Ebbert, 80, of 501 W. Adams St., Macomb, died at 8:25 p.m. Sunday at McDonough District Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Chapel. The Rev. Willard Hockley will officiate and burial will be in Ipava Cemetery.
The Ebberts formerly resided in Astoria where they operated a bakery for several years.
Mr. Ebbert was born May 9, 1888 in Fulton County, the son of Frank and Emma Brockley Ebbert. He married Nellie Elizabeth Smith Dec. 6, 1913. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Norma) Wold of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Joe (Freida) Ladd of Clear Lake, Iowa; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Dwight Ebbert and Charles “Pat” Ebbert, are deceased.
