She was born Dec. 5, 1923, in Ashton, a daughter of Glenn and Nellie Smith Ebbert. She married Joseph K. Ladd on Dec. 29, 1944, in Ipava. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2014.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Larry Ladd; one sister, Norma Wold; and one grandson, B.J. Ladd.
Surviving are three sons, Dan (and Diane) Ladd of Westminster, Colo., Steve (and Beth) Ladd of Berlin, Md., and William (and Charmaine) Ladd of Inverness, Fla.; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was a bookkeeper for Oney’s Supermarket in Havana.
Graveside services were held Friday at the Ipava Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
