IPAVA — Claude Ebbert, 72, died last Thursday at his home in LaSalle. He had been ill two years. He was the son of John and Maria Babcock Ebbert. He attended the Ipava high school and taught in Macomb and LaSalle. He married Florence Brooking in Macomb.
Surviving are his mother, his widow, two children, Robert of New York City, and Maxine Hite, Ottawa; a granddaughter and the following sisters and brothers, Misses Ruth and Ruby Ebbert, Mrs. Gladys Kinnamon, all of Lewistown, Jesse Ebbert, Peoria, Henry of Ipava, and George and Guy of Adair.
Funeral services were held in LaSalle and burial was in the Ipava cemetery.
