Guy H. Ebbert Of Adair Dies

Guy H. Ebbert, 81, of R. R. Adair, died Saturday at a hospital in Duarte, Calif. He had been in poor health for the past several years.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by the Clugston Chapel. Friends may call at the chapel after noon Tuesday.

He was born May 31, 1887 in Fulton County, the son of John and Maria Babcock Ebbert. He resided in Fulton County until 1920 when he moved to the Adair community. He was a retired farmer, a member of the Adair United Methodist Church, Bardolph Masonic Lodge and White Shrine of Macomb. On Dec. 10, 1913 he was married to Edna C. Diehl. She died May 20, 1967. He had resided in Park Ridge at the home of a daughter since the death of his wife and been in California visiting at the homes of his other daughters.

Surviving are three children, Mrs. Clyde (Vergene) Watson of Park Ridge, Mrs. Dallas (Fern) Gipe of Reseda, Calif., and Mrs. Robert (Veryl) White of Monrovia, Calif.; two brothers, Henry Ebbert of Ipava and Jess Ebbert of Peoria; and three sisters, Miss Ruth Ebbert, Miss Ruby Ebbert and Mrs. Gladys Kinnamon, all of Lewistown; and eight grandchildren. Two brothers are deceased.
