Mrs. Edna C. Ebbert, 78, of rural Adair, died Saturday morning in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born May 16, 1889 in Astoria, a daughter of Ben and Emma Weese Diehl, she married Guy H. Ebbert Dec. 10, 1913.
He survives, along with three daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Virgene) Watson of Park Ridge, Mrs. Dallas (Fern) Gipe of Receda, Calif., and Mrs. Robert (Veryl) White of Monrovia, Calif.; one brother, Elzie Diehl of Denver, Colo.,; one sister, Miss Corda Diehl of Ipava; and eight grandchildren. One sister died earlier.
She was a member of Adair Methodist Church, Queen Esther Shrine and the Grandmother's Club.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Adair Methodist Church, the Rev. Warren Christian officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
