GLADYS (EBBERT) KINNAMON

Gladys Kinnamon

Gladys Kinnamon, 90, of Lewistown died at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1995, at Mason District Hospital in Havana.

She was born Sept. 3, 1904, in Ipava, a daughter of John and Maria Babcock Ebbert. She married Walter W. Kinnamon on Aug. 23, 1924, in Macomb. He died Nov. 3, 1964. Five brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Gerald Kinnamon of Lewistown; one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Vonee) Davis of Lewistown; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She and her late husband Walter Kinnamon, owned and operated Kinnamon Service Station in Lewistown since 1938, where she was still active as bookkeeper until her death. She was a member of the Illinois Street Christian Church in Lewistown.

Funeral services were held Friday at Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Barbara Short officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Memorials can be made to her church or Lewistown Rescue Squad.
