Elaine Danner, 76, of Astoria died at 10:20 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2004, at Astoria Gardens.
She was born Nov. 12, 1927, in Fulton County, the daughter of Boyd and Maude Shiflet Kersh. She married Orlen Morey. She later married Carter Danner on Jan. 29, 1973, in Rushville. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, James (and Shelia) Morey of Illion, N.Y.; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kemper and Kenneth Kersh.
She was a homemaker. She also was a dealer for Kent Feed for seven years.
She was a former member of Astoria Church of the Nazarene.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Astoria Cemetery with Cliff Parry officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
