Kenneth D. Kersh, 63, of 5112 N. Graceland Drive, Peoria, formerly of Canton, died at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 1986, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, where he was admitted July 20.
He was born Oct. 28, 1922, in Peoria County, a son of Boyd and Maude (Shifflett) Kersh. He married Wanda J. Robinson Aug. 31, 1943, in Lewistown. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Stephen M. Kersh of Peoria; one daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Patricia) Zaborac of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, Kemper Kersh of Farmington; one sister, Mrs. Carter (Elaine) Danner of Astoria; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
He last worked at Midtown Brake and Electric in Peoria.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Wilton Mortuary, with Rev. Robert L. Brackley officiating. Burial was in Swan Lake Cemetery.
