She was born April 10, 1923, in Astoria, a daughter of Albert and Addie M. Stambaugh Schisler. She married Donald Danner on Feb. 24, 1944, in Astoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Gill (and Roger) Root of Rushville; one sister, "Dot" (and John) Bucy of Astoria; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One son, Gary, and one infant sister preceded her in death.
She was a secretary at Camp Ellis in Ipava during World War II. She later was a bookkeeper at Bushnell Savings and Loan and then worked in the Macomb Treasurer's Office.
She was a former member of EUB Church in Astoria.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Central Illinois Chapter, in Peoria.
