Mrs. Mary L. Clemens, 87, of Table Grove, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 1988, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Nov. 13, 1900, in Stanton, Tenn., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Wilkerson. She married Martin Negley Aug. 9, 1921. He died Feb. 26, 1942. She married George Clemens Aug. 31, 1945 in Havana. He survives.
Other survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Duane (Martha) Burns and Mrs. Gordon (Marilyn) Kinnamon, both of Peoria, Mrs. Travis (Marjorie) Cox of Vermont and Mrs. Dale (Margaret) Selph of Table Grove; three stepchildren; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
She was a member of the Southern Baptist Bethany Church of Phoenix.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Table Grove Community Church with Rev. Bruce Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Providence Chapel Cemetery, Fairview.
Memorials may be made to the Table Grove Community Church.
Kost Memorial Home in Vermont was in charge of services.
