She was born Feb. 25, 1938, in Brownsville, Tenn., a daughter of Martin and Mary Loyd Negley. She married Dale Selph on June 1, 1956, in Abingdon. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Danny Selph of Table Grove; one brother, Dick (and Mary) Clemens of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Marilyn Kinnamon of Peoria and Marjorie Cox of Macomb; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Vaughn; one great-grandchild, Amelia Ford; and one sister, Martha Burns.
She worked in the restaurant in Table Grove. She then worked at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb as a dietary aide for 37 years.
Services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service. Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation with burial in the Harris Cemetery in Table Grove at a later date.
