Helen BlueHelen E. Blue, 90, of Havana, formerly of Astoria, died at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 24, 2018, at Hallmark House in Pekin.

She was born March 24, 1928, in Roseville, a daughter of John and Maggie Gilruth Harrah. She married Philip Blue on Nov. 23, 1947, in Summum. He preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 2004.

She also was preceded in death by one son, Rodney Blue; two grandsons, Jeremy and Larry James Wilson; two sisters, Mary Daniel and Maggie Schaefer; three half brothers, Ambrose Corman, Harold Corman and Neal Harrah; and one half sister, Gladys White.

Surviving are one son, Rick (and Susan) Blue of Peoria; three daughters, Rhonda (and Jim) Wilson of Green Valley, Ariz., Anna (and Steve) Bailey of Washington, Ill., and Debra (and J.I.) Williams of Groveland; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

She was a farmer and homemaker. She also worked at Graham Hospital in Canton and Mummert Seed Company in Astoria.

She was a member of Astoria Christian Church. She attended Summum Christian Church.

Services were held Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Darrin Fish officiating. Burial was in Sixteen Cemetery in Astoria.
