June May Barnett, 84, of Browning died June 22, 2010, at Astoria Gardens & Rehab Center.
She was born Oct. 25, 1925, near Browning, a daughter of William E. and Lela Marie Belville Humphrey. She married William Robert Barnett on Feb. 8, 1946, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 1985.
Also preceding her in death are one son, William Robert Barnett Jr.; two brothers, Allie and Andy Humphrey; and four sisters, Ethel Pripich, Garnet Swartz, Emma Hamlin and Leona Bollinger.
Surviving are one sister, Margaret (and Gary) Bopp of Astoria; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Browning United Methodist Church.
She was formerly employed by National Distillery in Peoria and was a hostess at The Senior Center in Browning.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at her church, with burial in Browning Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
