Lola Jean Bowman, 55, of rural Astoria, died at 8:28 a.m. Sunday, June 2, 1996, in the emergency room of Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born April 27, 1941, in Astoria, a daughter of Chauncey and Susie Gossage Danner. She married William H. Bowman on Sept. 1, 1958, in Astoria. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother of Astoria; two sons, Tim Bowman and Billy Bowman, both of Astoria; two daughters, Pam Humphrey of Rushville and Tammy Stambaugh of Astoria; two sisters, Verna Mae Powell of Canton and Connie Cavens of Astoria; and 14 grandchildren.
Her father, one brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Mount Zion Cemetery in Astoria with Collis Trone officiating.
Shawgo Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
