He was born Sept. 8, 1943, a son of Francis and Betty Westerfield Williams. He married Susan Chambers on April 23, 1985, in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Sandy (and Dean) Roddis of Ipava; one stepdaughter, Anita (and Mike) Jurick; one stepson, Jim Hanson; one granddaughter, Sarah Roddis of Table Grove; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Ann Parry; one grandson, Erik Bucher; one sister, Philena Harlan; and two brothers, Gary Williams and Francis “Frank” Williams Jr.
He worked at International Harvester and AMAX Coal Mine for several years.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Audrey Day officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery in Astoria.
