She was born Jan. 16, 1963, in Macomb, a daughter of Mickie D. and Patricia A. Brooks Williams. She married Danny Parry on Feb. 12, 1993, in Astoria. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother and father; two stepdaughters, Monica (and Jeff) Braun of Lewistown and Sonja (and Josh) Peterson of Havana; one sister, Sandy (and Dean) Roddis of Ipava; one stepbrother, Jay Brush; one stepsister, Jennie Fawcett; one grandson, Ethan Bucher of Canton; six step grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one son, Erik Allen Bucher.
She was a caregiver, working for the Astoria Healthcare Center and later Astoria Gardens. She also worked as an aide and in physical therapy for the McDonough District Hospital in Macomb, and as secretary for the Renaissance Care Center in Canton. She also worked at Bower Bearing in Macomb and last worked at The Roadhouse Bar and Grill in Ipava. She also owned Cousins Karaoke.
She was a member of the Ipava American Legion Auxiliary for several years.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ipava Cemetery with Pastor Doug Krukewitt officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to McDonough County Humane Society or the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Midwest Affiliate in Peoria.
