Rylie Rene Wherley, infant daughter of Chris and Lindsey Wingard Wherley of Athens, was stillborn at 4:33 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005, at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur.
Surviving are her parents of Athens; grandparents, Clair and Sharon Wingard of Decatur, Larry and Patty Wherley of Astoria and Indianapolis, Ind; and great-grandparents, Jim and Doris Mattchen of Decatur, Willis and Joan France of Astoria, Ethel Wingard of Mount Zion and Marjorie Wherley of Table Grove.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, William Wingard and Wendell Wherley.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at Athens Christian Church. Visitation will follow the services from 6-8 p.m. at the church. Interment will be held at a later date. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Rylie Wherley Scholarship Fund established at Williamsville Schools in Williamsville.
