HOMER L. WEISHAAR

VeteranHomer Weishaar

Homer L. Weishaar, 75, of Browning, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident.

He was born Jan. 30, 1923, in Browning, a son of Charles and Lula Seymore Weishaar. He married Annabelle DeMoss on Nov. 27, 1947, in Sheldons Grove. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. George (Debbie) Runkels of Springfield; one son, Randy Weishaar of Browning; three grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Weishaar and Charles Weishaar, both of Browning; and one sister, Beulah Trone of Pekin.

He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of the Astoria American Legion Post #25. He was a commercial fisherman and laborer for Local #165 in Peoria for 35 years.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Collis Trone officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Browning Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
