Randy Weishaar

Randy L. Weishaar, 73, of Browning died at 6:08 p.m. March 24, 2022, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

He was born May 14, 1948, in Schuyler County, the son of Homer Lee and Annabelle DeMoss Weishaar.

Surviving are one son, Homer Randall “Sluggo” (and Jill) Weishaar of Browning; two daughters, Sally Ann Weishaar of Browning and Kelly (and Pat) Cagle of Beardstown; one sister, Debbie (and George) Runkels of Springfield; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a member of Laborers 165 in Peoria for 50 years. He also was a Commercial Fisherman.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1968-69.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will take place from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Burial will be in the Browning Cemetery at 10 a.m. Friday. A Celebration of Life will follow at noon at Sally’s 4th Street Bistro in Beardstown.
