VICKI I. (ST. DENNIS) WORKMAN

Vicki Workman

Vicki I. Workman, 53, of Astoria, died at 5:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 1998, in the emergency room at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

She was born Sept. 6, 1944, in Canton, a daughter of Raymond and Edna Edmondson St. Dennis. She married Phillip D. Workman on March 23, 1963, in Canton. He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Tammie) Peterman of Biloxi, Miss., and Mrs. Richard (Linda) Fisher of Summum; one “special” daughter, Mrs. Gary (Beverly) Taylor of Rushville; three grandchildren; one “special” granddaughter; four step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert G. St. Dennis of Astoria and David E. St. Dennis of Naples, Fla.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Valerie Lynn and Barbara Jo Workman; one son, Terry Allen Workman; two brothers, two sisters and her parents.

She was a licensed practical nurse and had once served as the director of nursing at the Astoria Healthcare Center. She also worked for the Astoria Community School District. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Canton.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Astoria Public Library, Astoria Rescue Squad, the Astoria Township Cemetery Association or the Wesley United Methodist Church of Canton.
