Winifred L. Wrestler, 91, of Astoria, died at 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, 1990, at Heartland Health Care Center of Canton.
She was born Oct. 29, 1898, in Summum, the daughter of Perry E. and Pauline (Harmon) Shields. She married Ernest Wrestler on Nov. 25, 1916, in Havana. He died Jan. 23, 1976.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and one granddaughter.
Survivors include one son, Gene, and one daughter, Donna Johns, both of Canton; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Derry of Astoria.
She was a member of Astoria Christian Church. She also was a member of U Go and I Go Club for more than 70 years. She was a clerk at the Astoria Sunshine Store for many years.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Jim Comstock officiating. Burial was at Summum Cemetery.
