Mrs. Neva Wise Dies In Missouri

Mrs. Neva Marie Wise, 57, of Pomona, Mo., formerly of Astoria, died Jan. 7, 1990 at the Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs, Mo.

She was born Feb. 12, 1932, in Glasford, a daughter of Charles Orlo and Ila Weishaar Winston. She married Forrest Wise at Astoria on Sept. 10, 1950. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother, Ila Winston of Astoria; one brother, Paul Winston of Astoria; one sister, Caroline Stine of Astoria; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother-in-law, Clark Stine.

Mrs. Wise was a graduate of Astoria High School. Being the wife of a Christian minister, she assisted her husband faithfully in his pastoral duties in Illinois; Cabool, Atlanta, Linn and more recently in Pomona, Mo. where they resided. She was a very dedicated Christian lady who loved her family, friends and church, and will be missed by all.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, in Pomona Christian Church with Roger Tribble officiating. Burial was in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery at Pomona. Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home of Cabool was in charge of services.

Mrs. Neva Wise, 57, of Pomona, Mo., formerly of Astoria, died Sunday afternoon, Jan. 7, 1990, in the Pomona Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. this afternoon at the Pomona Christian Church where her husband, Forest, is pastor.

Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery at Pomona, Mo.
