Richard Walton Of Vermont Dies

Graveside services for Richard Lee Walton, 41, of Vermont were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Prairie City Cemetery with Rev. Dan Roberts officiating.

Mr. Walton died at 9:21 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 1980, at his home.

He was born Oct. 10, 1938, in Ipava, the son of Charles and Edith Snowden Walton. He married Anita Weilbaker on June 5, 1965 in Prairie City. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Derek and Ryan, both at home; two daughters, Angela and Courtney, both at home; five sisters, Mrs. Joan Ward and Mrs. Ellie Gilbert, both of Macomb, Mrs. Irene Groff of Vermont, Mrs. Barbara David of Arkansas and Mrs. Lola Trone of Canton; and three brothers, Gene of Racine, Wis., Clifford of Astoria and Larry, address unknown.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

He was employed at Clayton Mark and Co. in Vermont.
