Eleanor A. Gilbert, 87, of Macomb died at 3:55 a.m. Nov. 22, 2021, at Sunset Rehabilitation Center in Canton.
She was born July 3, 1934, in Fulton County, a daughter of Charles and Edith Snowden Walton. She married Roger Gilbert. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Paul Gilbert; one daughter, Dotti Derry; and several siblings.
Surviving are three children, Rodney Gilbert of Macomb, Cindy Dimmitt of Champaign and Penni Stracker of Vermont; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a close personal friend, Clay Vail and family.
She worked at NTN Bower for over 30 years and Kmart for 10 years.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be held at a later date. Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen-Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
