VeteranGhlee R. Wilson Of Vermont, Dies

Funeral services for Ghlee Ross Wilson, 74, Vermont, who died Tuesday, July 29, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Kost Memorial Home in Vermont.

Burial was in Vermont Cemetery. Military rites were held. The Rev. Daniel Johnson conducted the services.

Mr. Wilson, a retired hardware store owner, was born Jan. 28, 1895, in Astoria, a son of Amos and Epervia Geer Wilson. He married Maude Rebecca Lybarger on Oct. 19, 1920; she survives.

He had been a Vermont resident for 40 years; he retired 10 years ago. He was a 50-year member of the Vermont American Legion Post and a member of Kiwanis. He was a veteran of World War I.

He is also survived by a son, Gerald R. Wilson of Escondido, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia E. Rimington, Lena; six grandchildren; two brothers, Leroy Wilson of Astoria and Eldon W. Wilson of Medford, Ore.
