Maro J. Wilson, 74, of Astoria died late Sunday evening at Culbertson Hospital in Rushville following a one-year illness.
He was born May 9, 1892 at Astoria to Amos and Epervia Geer Wilson, and had never married. Surviving are three brothers, Ghlee Wilson of McAllen, Tex., Eldon Wilson of Medford, Ore., and Leroy Wilson of Astoria, and one nephew and one niece.
Mr. Wilson was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church of Astoria.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, the Rev. Russell Fry officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery northwest of Astoria.
