Ray Wherley Of South Bend, Ind., Dies

Ray Wherley of South Bend, Ind., formerly Astoria, was found dead in his car Monday, January 18th.

Officers said Wherley apparently backed his car from his garage and collapsed. Attendants at Memorial Hospital said he died of a heart attack.

Mr. Wherley had been an employee of Bendix Products and Bendix Aviation Corporation for the last 30 years.

Surviving are his widow, a son Otis of South Bend, a sister, Mrs. Ida Horton of Astoria, four brothers, Harry of Vermont, Earl of Canton, Clarence of Lewistown, and Floyd of Watervliet, Mich.
