Dorothy E. Thomson, 90, of Table Grove died at 5:05 p.m. Nov. 15, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 11, 1921, in rural Adair, a daughter of George Ray and Lucy Barker Long. She married Travis Thomson on Dec. 14, 1940. He preceded her in death in 1972.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers, George Long Sr., Junior Long and Raymond Long in infancy; and one sister, Maxine Mullen.
Surviving are one son, Jerry E. Thomson of Macomb; one brother, Robert (and Barbara) Long of rural Adair; and one grandchild.
She lived all of her life in the Adair and Table Grove areas. She worked with her husband on their farm.
Services were held Saturday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with David Long officiating. Burial was in Harris Cemetery near Table Grove.
