Mother of Astoria Woman Dies Friday

Mrs. Helen Tadejevic, 96, of St. David died at 6:55 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 1979, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

Born May 1, 1883, in Sungar, Yugoslavia, she was a daughter of Joseph and Mary Sporer Tomlianovich. She married Frank Tadejevich Nov. 13, 1904, in Centerville, Iowa. He died Aug. 3, 1950.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Catherine Sepich of Canton, Mrs. Anne Byers of East Peoria, Mrs. Margaret Behnke of Morton Grove and Mrs. Helen Fray of Astoria; three sons, Joe of Peoria, Frank of North Olmsted, Ohio, and John of Springfield; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Four children and two brothers preceded her in death.

Mrs. Tadejevich was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and St. Michael’s Women’s Club.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michael’s Church with her grandson, Rev. Larry Sepich, officiating. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Canton.
