VIOLET (CRABLE) THOMPSON

Young Wife And Mother Buried Here Friday

Mrs. Violet Crable Thompson, died at the Graham hospital, Canton, last Wednesday, aged 30 years, and one month.

Mrs. Thompson was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Crable. She was born in Bluff City, Sept. 29, 1899. She was united in marriage to Hardy Thompson, Sept. 21, 1919 and to this union six children were born, namely, Eva, Evelyn, Norman and Alice. Two having died in infancy.

Besides her husband and children, [illegible line] father and mother, grandmother, Mrs. Marilla Shaw; also four sisters, Mrs. Chester Thompson of Woodland township, Mrs. Clarence Wherley of near Canton, Mrs. Roy Clayton of Bluff City and Mrs. Russell Painter, Sheldons Grove, and one brother, Roy Crable of Crook, Colorado.

When a girl, Mrs. Thompson was converted and united with the United Brethren church. She was a kind mother, a loving wife, a good neighbor and her death is mourned by a large circle of friends who extend their sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.

Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at 1:00 o’clock in the parental home of the deceased, by Rev. John Davis. Interment in Astoria cemetery.
