NELLIE (SHAW) CRABLE

Mrs. Nellie Crable, Bluff City, Dies Saturday

Mrs. Nellie Crable of Bluff City, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gladys Thompson in Havana, aged 81 years, 8 months, and 21 days.

Mrs. Crable was born near Bluff City, Dec. 17, 1871, a daughter of Daniel and Marilla Welker Shaw. She was united in marriage to Phillip Norman Crable, July 1, 1874, who preceded her in death March 30, 1936.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Thompson of Havana, Mrs. Wayne Wherley of Lewistown, Mrs. Mary Clayton, Bluff City and Mrs. Constance Painter, Sheldons Grove; one son, Roy Crable, Lingle, Wyo.; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Himmel and Mrs. Charlotte Baumgartner, and one brother, Frank Shaw, all of Bluff City; also 32 grandchildren, and 37 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Bluff City church, of which she was a member, conducted by Rev. Fred Thompson, the pastor. Burial in the Astoria cemetery.
