VeteranFrank Robert Seward Of Astoria Dies

Frank Robert Seward, 56, of Astoria died at 4:42 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 1980, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

Born May 28, 1923, in Astoria, he was a son of Mose and Carrie Etter Seward.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of Table Grove American Legion.

Surviving are one son, Robert Seward of Beardstown; one daughter, Mrs. Sally Clark of Oklahoma City, Okla.; his mother of Astoria; four grandchildren; and three brothers, Sam of Astoria, Earl of Oblong and Marshall of Havana. His father, one sister and one brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home with Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in South Fulton Cemetery.
