Mrs. Carrie E. Seward, 91, of Astoria died at 11:02 a.m. Monday, Oct. 13, 1980, in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
Born Feb. 19, 1889, in Astoria, a daughter of Phillip W. and Elizabeth Hollinger Etter, she married Mose Seward. He died in 1959.
Two sons and one daughter also preceded her.
Surviving are three sons, Sam of Astoria, Earl of Oblong, and Marshall of Havana; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; great, great-grandchildren and one brother, Earl Etter of Traverse City, Mich.
She was a member of the Astoria Church of the Brethren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Shawgo Memorial Home, where visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening. Collis Trone will officiate and burial will be in South Fulton Cemetery.
