Willis D. Schisler, 60 of rural Astoria, died while shoveling snow near his home about 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, 1979.
He was born Mar. 10, 1918, at Marietta, the son of John W. and Ella Walters Schisler.
Surviving are one aunt, Mrs. Bessie Long of Astoria, and one uncle, Ervin Walters of Browning.
A retired farmer, he was a member of the Astoria Church of the Brethren.
Funeral services were to be held at 1 p.m. this afternoon at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Arlen Longanecker officiating. Burial will be in the Astoria Cemetery.
