Mrs. Ella Grace Schisler, 73, of Astoria, died at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Culbertson Memorial Hospital at Rushville following a brief illness.
She was a lifetime resident of the Astoria area.
She was born Dec. 11, 1896 in Astoria, a daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Gruber Walters, and was married to John W. Schisler Oct. 17, 1915 in Astoria. He preceded her in death May 15, 1967.
Surviving are one son, Willis Schisler of Astoria, and one brother, Irvin Walters of Browning. Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
Mrs. Schisler was a member of the Astoria Church of the Brethren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Burial will be in the Astoria Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon and evening.
