Gary John Rimington, 49, of Benton, Ark., died at 1:33 p.m. Feb. 3, 2021, at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton.
He was born May 5, 1971, in Macomb, the son of David Rimington and Glenda Mayall Stoklosa.
Surviving are his father, David (and Cindy) Rimington of Prophetstown; his mother, Glenda Stoklosa; four children, Gary Rimington Jr., Rachel (and Devin) Helfrich, Brandon (and Satin) Charneski and Benjamin Charneski, all of Rock Falls and Sterling; and two sisters, Theresa Culpepper and Wendy Rimington.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Verlyn and Helen Mayall and J. Edwin and Goldie Rimington; and his stepfather, Theodore Stoklosa.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held in Ipava and Prophetstown at a future date. Smith Funeral Home in Benton, Ark., is in charge of arrangements.
