She was born Oct. 11, 1939, in the Kinderhook Community in Schuyler County, a daughter of Clifford and Katherine Van Order Friday. She married Charles Lavern Robbins on March 2, 1957, in Frederick. He passed away March 13, 2004.
She also was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Bowman, Dorrie Anderson and Mildred Ren; and three brothers, Russell Friday, James “Jimmy” Friday and Clifford “Pete” Friday.
Surviving are one son, Randy L. (and Mary) Robbins of Rushville; two sisters, Ruby Hammack of Summum and Garnet “Donna” (and Doug) Hammack of Pleasant View; three brothers, Harold “Bob” Friday of Pleasant View, Wayne (and Jennifer) Friday of Springfield and Donald (and Eva) Friday of Metamora; and two grandchildren.
She was a lifelong farm wife and homemaker. She was a member of Rushville Assembly of God Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday with Pastor Thomas Owings officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
